Warehouse Supervisor

Our successful Medical Device Company is searching for a Warehouse Supervisor.(will be responsible to efficiently plan, organize, and control all levels of inventory, ensure accuracy in system and plan optimal levels of inventory for future customer needs)POSITION: TEMP TO PERM

JOB DESCRIPTION:Supervise warehouse associates to achieve timely distribution and receipt of goods.

Resolves technical or quality problems to meet production schedules and customer ship dates.

Adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.

Coordinate sterilization schedule and ensure sterilization of products are performed according to this schedule.

Maintain hazardous waste documentation and supervise the pick up by outside waste hauler Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, follow prescribed safety regulations and ensure compliance with established procedures.

Ensure products and materials are properly stored and that the storage areas are properly maintained

Ability to analyze material process flow, adjust and improve as business needs change

Work to meet departmental objectives and operational goals while maintaining standards of quality

Communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to others, understand material, and provide instructions to all employees

Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping

Recommend and implement programs, policies and strategies to increase productivity and efficient space utilization

Develop and maintain procedures applicable to the operations

Implement and assist in development of cycle counting processes and implementing pull system for each product

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.

Education, ExperienceThis position requires a minimum of 4 years' experience in a supervisory role within Warehouse operations, Inventory Management and/or Distribution environment (High School Diploma/GED and 8 years' experience will substitute)

Strong leadership skills, ability to lead by example

Ability to prioritize and to focus on details with attention to accuracy and deadlines. Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skill (oral and written)

Ability to manage multiple tasks and problem solve

Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience in ERP systems.
