job summary:

Client is looking for a talented and self-motivated developer to be a member of the Human Resources Business Technology (HRBT) team. This role will be responsible to develop and provide production support for our Workday integrations across our HR technology stack between client and our 3rd party vendors, which may include some vendor production maintenance as well. Additional responsibilities include technology support within our Workday HCM, HR Data Warehouse and Qlik Analytics applications. As we are evolving an ecosystem of vendor-products and internally developed applications, the ability to think creatively and learn and apply different technologies is an exciting opportunity this position offers. Non-technical skillset should include a high degree of organization, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external teams that include both functional and technical resources.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new, or modifying existing, integrations from Workday to internal and external clients using Workday technologies including calculated fields, custom reports, EIBs, Document Transformation, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Web Services, etc.
  • Manage and support Workday integrations, both inbound and outbound from Workday to other vendors (i.e. benefits, payroll, internal systems, etc.)
  • Analyze and classify production issues or new enhancements to Workday integrations including identifying change needed and documenting scope of change and impact on other integrations or processes
  • Develop and execute test plans, while documenting results, that will thoroughly exercise program logic to ensure program/application performance regarding business requirements
  • Participate in walk-throughs which review program specifications, source code, and all technical supporting documentation, while providing feedback in accordance with department standards and guidelines
  • Collaborate with HRBT, HR and Systems to provide production support for the HR technology stack and vendor technology related maintenance including Windows, Oracle, Unix and ODI upgrades or validation testing, addressing Cyber Vulnerabilities and remediation related to server infrastructure which can include occasional after-hours support or weekend work
  • Lead the setup, configuration and maintenance as needed including ID management, Momentum profiles, PGP / SSH keys, SSL certificates, sFTP and SSO configurations for the HR technology stack both related to server infrastructure and to integrations within Workday
  • Provide production support for clients on HR related applications, including addressing inquiries on the technology, processes, or user access to resolve issues

Skills Required:

  • 3 + years relevant experience with Workday Studio highly preferred but alternate integration methodology experience is required
  • 3+ years relevant experience with integration technologies including Web Services, XML, XSLT, SOAP and Java
  • Experience with HR systems and solutions such as Workday HCM, PeopleSoft HRMS or SAP HCM
  • Experience with requirements documentation, including ability to provide feedback on design of processes
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic, follow-through and communication skills for all assigned areas of responsibility
  • Ability to articulate the issues and propose viable solutions
  • Ability to work independently, inform appropriately, and self-manage among assigned priority items
  • Team player
