Are you an expert in how companies and their partners are using cloud technology to revolutionize medical device manufacturing, remote monitoring, and connected devices? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a leader experienced in the industry to join our team and build our business together with leading consulting and technology independent software vendor (ISV) partners. Customers and partners across the industry are using digital technologies such as cloud, analytics, AI/ML, and IoT to modernize their systems and improve health outcomes. This is an individual contributor leadership role with global responsibility. You will collaborate with consulting and technology ISV providers in the industry to bring innovative solutions to customers, to help them engage with and nurture their clients, differentiate their offerings, and grow their business. You will be working closely with teams across AWS including product management, partner development managers, solution architects, solutions and offerings teams, professional services, and our sales teams. You will be the face to the Healthcare & Life Sciences industry of the AWS partner team and solutions, building and maintaining engagement with executives at top Medical Devices partners including engaging with AWS leadership, and representing AWS in industry events. You are an accomplished leader in the industry, experienced at influencing innovation in a consulting and technology partner ecosystem and engaging with decision makers at the executive level. Deep understanding or experience in Medical Devices from either a device manufacturer, distribution (track and trace), proactive preventative maintenance perspective and/or a remote monitoring, connected devices, and IoT perspective. Your experience may be across all areas, or focused on one area with demonstrated ability to learn and be successful in a broader Medical Devices role. Demonstrated success of working with partners at a global scale are important for this role. You have specific experience and knowledge of the operations, IT processes, and business problems in Medical Device companies and/or with healthcare or life sciences companies engaged in remote patient monitoring with connected devices from a range of different manufacturers. Ideally, you also have working knowledge of cloud computing. You will have business development, product management, strategic alliances, and entrepreneurial skills. You can demonstrate an ability to inspire others, think strategically about new business models, solution evaluation and delivery, and show prior solution and program successes. 10010Key job responsibilitiesLead the Medical Devices partner strategy and execution plan for technology and consulting partners in the Healthcare & Life Sciences industry, and carry accountability for business results Build C-level relationships with our top Medical Devices partners, which include both manufacturers of medical devices as well as technology and consulting partners who provide software and/or services to enable remote monitoring and connected devices. Collaborate with AWS teams and with partners to bring solutions to market to meet Healthcare & Life Sciences customer needs, with measurable ROI results Represent the AWS Medical Devices partner strategy internally and externally Prioritize AWS investment in partners who focus on the industry including leading startups, consulting companies, and established independent software vendors (ISV) technology vendors Work with cross-functional groups in AWS to deliver programs that will scale the Medical Devices partner business in the industry Prepare and give business reviews to AWS leadersA day in the lifeA day in the lifeOur team also puts a high value on work-life balance. 5+ years of professional or military experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

6+ years of responding to requests for proposals (e.g., determining requirements, matching requirements to technical approach and solutions, developing solutions against requirements) experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
