Description We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a full-time, contract-to-permanent basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in accounts receivable management. Generate and issue accurate and timely invoices to clients.

Ensure adherence to billing policies and contract terms.

Record and reconcile customer payments in accordance with established procedures.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payment transactions.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer balances.

Implement collection strategies to recover overdue payments.

Maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and providing payment-related information.

Send regular statements and reminders to encourage timely payments.

Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.

Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports to track key performance indicators.

Provide insights and recommendations for improving the collections process.

Demonstrate a commitment to excellence during the contract period with the potential for a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Requirements

A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

Proven success in managing accounts receivable processes.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.

Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interactions.

Meticulous attention to detail in payment processing, reconciliation, and customer communications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in resolving payment discrepancies.
