Architecture Discipline Lead I

AECOM is seeking Lead Architect to be based in New York, NY. Responsibilites are limited but not included:Performs various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a program management team overseeing Design Build projects for the New York City Housing Authority Comprehensive Modernization Program.Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.Generally, requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of architecture.Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches.Maintains liaison with groups within the program management organization, client groups, residents (users) and the design build teams.Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field and enforcing the Design-Build Contract.Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience.Works under minimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.Manages a very small group, coordinating activities of the unit.
