The future for Raising Cane’s is growth focused and we’re on the path to being one of the top ten restaurant companies in the United States.Your Role at Raising Cane’s:The Area Leader of Recruiting is responsible for leading the full cycle recruiting process for Restaurant management positions and providing strategic support for Crewmember hiring within a specific market. This role partners directly with the area leadership to assess hiring needs, execute near and long-term strategies to ensure all new Restaurants open fully staffed and all existing Restaurants maintain optimal staffing levels.Full Cycle Recruiting for Restaurant Management:
Manages the full cycle recruiting process for internal and external candidates to fill current and future Restaurant management vacancies
Cultivates a management candidate talent pipeline to coincide with the organization’s growth strategy
Evaluates incoming applications and actively sources passive candidates to select management talent that aligns with the positional competencies and leadership profile
Develops market-based recruiting strategies and partnerships to support management staffing efforts in assigned geographic areas
Leads the management recruiting processes ensuring consistency and a great candidate experience
Builds Raising Cane’s employer brand presence in our communities by establishing relationships with schools, community-based organizations, and others to provide a pipeline of candidates
Recruitment Support for Restaurant Crew Staffing:
Leads the New Restaurant Opening (NRO) Crewmember hiring strategy and process to ensure successful hiring and onboarding to meet staffing needs
Responsible for developing and executing Restaurant Crew staffing plans
Provides a regular cadence of Crew staffing updates to all internal stakeholders
Assists Restaurant Leaders and Assistant Restaurant Leaders with developing recruiting skills and routines necessary to maintain staffing levels with minimal support
Plans and executes Crew hiring events as needed
Cultivates strong relationships with Area and Regional Business Unit Teams to ensure recruiting support efforts are aligned with Business Unit goals and objectives
Completes other duties as assigned
Requirements for Success:
Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage constantly changing priorities

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
Able to recognize problems, set goals, create plans and convert plans into action to solve problems
Proficient with a variety of technology systems and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
3+ years of recruitment experience; restaurant experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Able to travel up to 50% and required to live within assigned areas
Experience working for a multi-unit restaurant, retail or hospitality company preferred
Experience working in restaurants preferred
Strong work ethic and “hands on” approach
Exceptional people and interpersonal skills
Able to work a varied schedule related to business needs including days, evenings and weekends
Possess a valid driver's license
The physical work environment for this role includes a combination of working from a home-based office, representing Raising Cane’s out in the community, as well as time spent in our Restaurants. This can and will include working in a fast-paced kitchen and interacting with and serving customers. This requires extended periods of physical exertion such as walking, standing and lifting. It also includes working both inside and outside in varied temperatures, with and around food products and common allergens, industrial equipment, commercial cleaning products, and requires use of personal protective equipment and ergonomic activities necessary to complete the job function.
