CRI is looking for (2) Business Analysts that will work closely with stakeholder teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for projects that will directly affect the State of New Mexico EHR system. This role will be a liaison between project stakeholders and developers to ensure business and functional requirements are translated and documented to deliver high quality products that enables our care teams to provide better care to patients. The Business Analysts will need to do onsite visits as they develop the business needs for this project. There are 7 facilities to be visited as well as multiple health offices. The salary for the role with full benefits is $80,000 annually. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist and in some cases own projects through the SDLC lifecycle
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with all levels of end users, including executive level staff, to understand the core issue and refine business requirements, which could entail:
  • Translate and document business requirements into appropriate documentation articles to maintain transparency and collaboration between all teams including development, operations, and clinical teams. Those articles include:
  • Process workflow diagrams
  • Edge case scenarios
  • Low, medium, and high-fidelity wireframes/mockups
  • Functional requirements document
  • Confluence page updates
  • Create epics and user stories in Jira and provide development clarifications to development teams
  • Perform an internal round of user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in supporting end user UAT
  • Review and provide guidance to release notes documentation related to projects you are responsible for
  • Become an SME on product modules to be able to identify potential impacts to the application and suggest solutions or workarounds
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years of Business Analyst experience in the health care industry
  • Strong writing skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with various healthcare software (e.g., EMR, EHR, Population Health Management, Practice Management)
  • Experience with Agile development methodology including User stories, Use Cases, UAT, product sprint and backlog management
  • Experience working with offshore development teams - preferred
  • Experience in implementation of integrations with Lab, HIE and other third-party vendors - preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment
