1.Responsible for the technical operations related to the hotel, both inside and outside ofthe facilities.2.Ensure that all of the units, facilities and equipment in the hotel are working, maintainedand repaired. Operate these in the most economical manner, according to the technicalrules and changing needs of the facilities and without compromising the quality promisedto customers. Responsible for preparing and implementing the expenditure budget tocarry out these operations.2.3 Ensure that the periodic maintenance and repairs for all of the buildings, machines andequipment in the facilities are carried out according to the planned maintenance andrepair methods.Assign facility employees with the appropriate qualities to carry out maintenance andrepairs or outsource such work to quality technical service providers.2.5 Take the necessary measures to protect the hotel and defend it against fires and naturaldisasters and train the employees in this area.2.6 Ensure that the technical service workshops and storage houses are up and running andare used to the maximum extent possible.2.7 Take samples of water (drinking, potable, pool, and sea) on a periodic basis, get thesamples analysed at authorised laboratories, document the results and, if necessary, reportto the respective departments.2.8 Carry out all other tasks related to the position that are assigned by the GeneralManagement.2.9 Prepare the daily list of tasks for his/her team.2.10 Prepare the weekly work schedule for the Technical Service Department.2.11 Preparing the maintenance and repairs programme.2.12 Strive to establish good communication with subcontractors and departmental employees.2.13 Prepare the inventory lists of departmental spare parts, tools and supplies.2.14 Inspect the hotel building and surroundings according to the fit-out schedules in order toensure that that they comply with applicable laws.2.15 When necessary, carry out other reasonable tasks that may be requested.2.16 Manage and audit the department according to the policies, procedures and instructions atRixos Sharm El Sheikh Hotel, set targets, and communicate and ensure adoption of thesetargets.2.17 Ensure that all employees in the hotel take the measures required for occupational andworker health.2.18 Take part in the Food Safety Team and attend the MR meetings.2.19 Must take all measures required for occupational and worker health and comply with allmeasures taken.2.20 Take part in the Emergency Response Teams and the Fire Extinguishing Team.2.21 To predict that all activities and to be purchased all equipment and belongings may createdisease for the environment, to join all activities which is organized to protect biologicaldiversity and shares the responsibilities, shares the individual responsibilities in order toincrease environment knowledge and to carry on necessary trainings. To provideminimum consumption currently used all stuffs and equipment (paper, printed out etc.).2.22 To implement necessary warnings and departmental trainings in order to save energyinside the facility. To carry on implementing decisions which were taken for savingenergy. To predict effects of environment and efficiency of energy on purchasedequipment.2.23 To implement his responsibilities in order to eliminate and collect waste in a proper way,reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects to the environment and lead to staffs.To provide carrying chemicals safely, carrying, storing and using in accordance withlaws, controlling reducing chemical dirtiness.2.25 Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented atthe facilities2.26 Carry out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specifiedin the job description.
