Freelance Legal (Retired, Student, Grad or Paralegal)

I am not seeking formal legal representation or legal advice.

Only an individual with legal knowledge — ideally a retired attorney, law professor, someone recently licensed, student, or a paralegal — to lightly steer me in the right direction. I would handle all writing, submissions, etc.

Things I'd like help with:

Read over a draft or two (e.g. a demand letter or formal complaint)

Help me stay aware of key deadlines or red flags in how I’m approaching things

Navigate the New Mexico legal system with general education on procedural operations

Nothing urgent or long-term, just intermittent check-ins.

Again, this would be with the explicit understanding (we could even sign something) that you are absolutely NOT representing me nor giving me legal advice—simply sharing knowledge on processes.
