As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage services, and sales. You will be responsible for hiring and training qualified staff to deliver exceptional service, maximize sales, and drive profitability, all while maintaining a high degree of public satisfaction and employee morale.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring all departments are functioning efficiently and in line with brand standards.
Develop and manage operating budgets; control payroll and other expenses.
Hire, train, supervise, and develop department heads and team members.
Ensure optimal guest satisfaction and maintain high service standards.
Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
Inspect guest rooms and public spaces regularly to ensure quality standards.
Foster strong relationships with guests, staff, vendors, and community leaders.
Promote employee engagement and maintain a positive team environment.
Ensure adherence to all safety, sanitation, and brand compliance protocols.
Regularly report performance metrics and develop strategies for improvement.
Qualifications:
Strong operational knowledge of all hotel departments.
Proven leadership and team-building skills.
Experience with budgeting, accounting, and sales planning.
CHA designation preferred.
Excellent communication skills; Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
Able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to lift, bend, move equipment, and stand for extended periods.
Must maintain the highest ethical standards and professional demeanor.
