Handy Person

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handyperson to join our maintenance team in Ibis Sydney Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks, ensuring our facilities are well-maintained and functional. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to handle diverse maintenance challenges.Key responsibilities include:Completing daily checks and minor repairs across guest rooms and public areas

(e.g. leaking taps, door hardware, light fittings, silicone touch-ups, basic plumbing fixes)Patch and paint work, including repairing wall damage, scuffs, and general cosmetic wearMaintaining guest facilities and hotel equipmentSupporting scheduled preventive maintenance tasksInspecting, cleaning, and maintaining air-conditioning filtersClearing walkways and ensuring external areas are safe and presentableLiaising with management to ensure out-of-order rooms or areas are returned to service as quickly as possibleIdentifying maintenance issues early and reporting larger repairs where required
