HSE ManagerJob Summary:You will have responsibility for developing and managing Array’s HSE Program at the Albuquerque, NM location. The ideal candidate is a driven and hands-on leader and mentor, who can collaborate with the team and cross-functionally build and enhance our safety culture. The successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to meet the qualifications required to perform this job successfully.Key Job Responsibilities:

Lead and foster a culture driven towards world class safe operations.

Develop and coordinate the implementation of effective EHS training programs to cultivate a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Monitor employee safety performance and drive accountability.

Lead/coordinate investigations into incidents to identify hazards, root causes and appropriate corrective actions.

Successfully implement the Environmental Management System (EMS) which will may include elements of the Quality Management System (QMS) at the location.

Work collaboratively with the plant operations team to conduct Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs)

Lead the operations section ESG efforts (Environmental and Sustainable portion) as they relate to the location.

In conjunction with the AOS team, support implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001: 2015 certification

Ensure appropriate root causes are found and robust corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

Utilize effective internal communications to escalate when appropriate.

Actively maintain current industry knowledge and requirements to ensure accurate data is communicated to management and production personnel

Supports operational compliance to applicable standards and laws

Communicate effectively on a technical level and across organizational lines.

Investigate regulatory findings, assess implications and prepare relevant documents.

Identify recommended capital expenditures to support improvements to the safety of the location.

Complete and maintain all required EHS records (OSHA 300 logs, EHS audits, Env. Inspections, etc.)

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in safety or similar

7+ years of experience in HSE management

5+ years of experience in a heavy manufacturing (metal fabrication preferred) environment

3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite

3+ years of experience reading drawings and understanding product testing requirements

2+ years of problem-solving experience with respect to process issues identified and Safety impacts

Knowledge of environmental regulations and requirements ; actual applicable experience in this area strongly preferred

Self-motivated, driven, and positive attitude

Strong interpersonal skills, able to motivate and inspire others

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP

Knowledge of ISO 14001 , ISO 9001; actual applicable experience in this area strongly preferred

Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously

Serve as a role model to the organization with respect to execution management style, communications, teamwork, and ethics

Ability to work in a fast paced, smaller company environment, often across multiple time zones

Demonstrated skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships

Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma

Professional certifications (i.e. CHMM, CSP, CIH, etc.)

Fluency in Spanish
