Manager, Finance

Role Purpose:The Manager of Finance is responsible for managing financial planning and forecasting for an innovative new initiative at NBCUniversal. This is a newly created role is an exciting opportunity that will play a foundational part in building and scaling a dedicated finance function to support the initiative’s growth. This role will have significant interaction with department heads, particularly through the forecast, budget, and estimate cycles.  In addition, the Manager will participate in/coordinate ad hoc projects as requested.Here you can:Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for an innovative new initiative at NBCUniversal.Act as a key finance partner to leadership, working closely with them to provide guidance on financial implications of decisions and maintain accurate forecastsDevelop financial models to support strategic decision-making and scenario analysisHeadcount tracking and analysis for operational teamsMonitor financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights  Create management reports and presentations on a routine and ad hoc basisPresent financial results and recommendations to senior leadershipOwn vendor set up and maintenance process for the initiativeContinually review financial processes to improve overall efficiency and accuracy and drive effective financial forecastingParticipate in other ad hoc projects
