About Us:

We are a rapidly growing health detox facility supervised by a licensed naturopathic doctor in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Our detox services focus exclusively on general health and wellness (not substance or drug detox). As we continue to expand, we're seeking a dedicated and flexible Patient Care Assistant to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

The Patient Care Assistant will handle a variety of supportive tasks requiring the utmost discretion, patience, and professionalism. This position requires someone who can maintain confidentiality, adapt to changing schedules, and provide exceptional care to our clients during their wellness journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Communication Support: Be available on-call to answer patient inquiries via phone or text, providing assistance with logistical or non-medical questions.

Juice Delivery & Preparation: Prepare juice off-site and deliver to the facility every 3 days. Ensure the timely delivery of fresh juice for patients.

Laundry & Bedding Management: Pick up and launder towels, bedding, and other laundry items. Replace clean bedding/towels in patient rooms and ensure rooms are prepared for new arrivals.

Room Turnover Assistance: Assist in preparing rooms for new patients by coordinating room turnover tasks (replacing bedding, sanitizing areas, replenishing supplies).

Emergency Assistance: Be available for on-call support to assist with any immediate needs related to patient care (e.g., urgent requests for juice, laundry, or general assistance).

Inventory Management: Help maintain stock of necessary supplies such as bedding, towels, toiletries, etc.

Other Duties: Provide general support as required to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare environment is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry laundry, change bedding, and perform light physical tasks.

Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.

Availability: Must be available on-call during designated hours or scheduled shifts as needed.

Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation for juice delivery and laundry pick-up/drop-off.

References: Professional references are REQUIRED and will be thoroughly checked.

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience in patient care, hospitality, or housekeeping.

Familiarity with health and safety protocols.

Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
