Planner, Oil & Gas Projects - Tampico, Mexico

Responsible for the development of programmes, baseline management and progress updates.On-site work, based at Tampico, MexicoExpert in the use of MS Project planning software, 90-day schedule, pointing out shortfalls and recommending improvements.The creation of programmes using ‘Critical Path Methodology’ and reporting against the programme for planning reports and related project controls disciplines.Must have experience of planning for the whole construction process from inception through to completion and to be able to create programmes that are underpinned by a basis of programme narrativeWorking with the wider project team in the presentation of programme information to stakeholders.Support the monthly update in line with reporting cycle and set in place reports and processes that suit the client or project team, including the use of key interfaces and earned value calculationsReview for acceptance Contractors programmes in line with contractual obligations and manage the relationship and on-going submission of the contractors programmes.Creation and regular production of Progress Reports.Attend progress review meetings as requiredWhere necessary undertake or contribute to what-if scenarios to show the effect of potential changesManage the interface between the various contracts
