ABOUT THE ROLEThe Plant Manager will be responsible for overall leadership of the site's operational performance in financial, quality, service, productivity, safety, employee relations, and supply chain management.In this role, the successful candidate will develop, and continuously improve an effective system of metrics, scorecards, governance and reviews to ensure strategies and projects are aligned with business needs in a leading company where individual and team success are recognized and rewarded.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:Consistently lean forward to further enable the strong growth in Manufacturing and commercialization of Electronic Components business well into the future, driving for greater productivity, capacity and a winning culture each year.Attract, manage, develop and retain a staff of change agents to deliver results in a manner consistent.Drive an engaged learning organization that is capable of meeting and exceeding business goals.Secure a financially healthy site, elaborating Year financial plan and understanding the P&L of the site and working with the team to secure financial success.Facilitate robust voice of customer to continuously evaluate and improve internal business processes.Create a vision and operating strategy ( Objectives, Goals, Strategies and KPI´S) and ensure effective execution, exceptional quality, service, cost management, safety, inventory and bottom-line results.Demonstrate an ability to collaborate across boundaries to solve difficult problems, and share and learn best practices from other sites.Be a visible leader capable of engaging team members at all levels of the organization.Foster a culture where safety is a core value in daily operation and strive towards an accident-free workplace.Support the processes and practices that ensure site compliance with legal, legislative and corporate safety requirements.Ensure accuracy and completion of capital planning and budgeting.Drive lean management and process discipline throughout manufacturing areas by personally championing Lean Manufacturing & SixSigma.Model and promote the Corporation’s Code of Business Ethics and Values.
