Pre-Press Technician

Color – Computers – Printing! Make it happen!

We have a full-time on-site Pre-Press Technician position open today! You make the magic happen in this job. Our clients send their printing files to you electronically and you make the changes that make the printed product look good. We print and send the products on their way across New Mexico. We print the daily Albuquerque Journal, The New Mexican, the New York Times, and over 50 different publications. We’re the largest facility in New Mexico. This is a career – not a job.

The shift is an evening one - generally 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM - 40 hours per week and includes weekend shifts.

We’d like you to have some digital prepress experience with a newspaper or commercial printer, including page-imposition software; computer-to-plate output systems; experience with CMYK separations; have an understanding of 2-up, 4-up and 8-up page imposition; have experience with Adobe suite and proficiency with both MAC and Windows operating systems. BUT, if you're willing to learn, we'll teach you!
