Product Engineer - Production Support

Job Description

1. Implementation of cost reduction projects for high and low pressure fuel injection rails (redesigns, validation of new suppliers and optimization of controls).

2. Release of new part numbers or versions of existing models in production, updating their information in the engineering deliverables.

3. Carry out analysis of the feasibility of changes in designs and/or analysis of irrigation due to deviations in the process or components.

4. Ensure the correct release of projects from development to production, auditing the existence and content of engineering deliverables.

5. Development of continuous improvement projects in the engineering processes and support in the improvements of the cross-functional team, seeking to reduce scrap and downtime due to false rejections.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and application of problem solving techniques ( Shainin, 8D's, Red-X, 5why's, 6 sigma, PDCA, etc)
• Bread of experience on test validation definition and test result analysis (Cause-Effect relationship of application damage and testing acceptance criteria).
• Experience ondirect communication with OEM.
• Fluent English
• Education:
  • Mechanical Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer or Mechatronics Engineer.
• Experience preview at least 3 years in the automotive industry.
