Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) OR Speech-Language Apprentice (SLPA)

Join our team at Meadow Speech Therapy. We are a small speech therapist owned company currently looking for a passionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist or speech-language assistant to work in school-based positions for the 24/25 academic year. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Our goal is to connect schools and providers in meaningful and supportive ways to increase collaborations, community, and continuity for long-term services. We are seeking a dedicated, creative, and knowledgeable Speech Language Pathologist or assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with school-aged children.

Duties:

- Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders (SLP)

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and IEP goals

- Provide speech therapy services to children with various communication disorders

- Collaborate with staff, teachers, professional providers to ensure comprehensive care

- Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes

Experience:

- Prior experience in clinical settings and/or school settings

- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

- Proficient in conducting patient evaluations and providing effective therapy

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Licenses and Requirements:

-Public Education School Personnel PRE K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist License (PED License)

-Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology

-Professional Liability Insurance

-Clear criminal background check

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico

Expected Hours: Between 15-37.5 hours per week
