Warehouse Operations Lead

Salary $40k - $50k

The Warehouse Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. These responsibilities include but are not limited to, receiving, staging, and Customer Service.

Primary responsibilities:

1. Verify receipt of incoming freight.

a. Check labels and packages match invoice

b. Place freight in correct route’s area

c. Verify or enter order in routing system

2. Act as an initial point of contact for customer and driver questions/issues.

3. Be available, as needed, after-hours for critical issues.

4. Monitor individual routes for timeliness and efficiency.

5. Verify returns are labeled correctly and ready for pickup/delivery.

6. Provide daily report on freight activity to Operations Manager.

7. Maintain warehouse in clean and operational condition.

Required Skills:

1. Prefer at least 1 years’ experience in warehouse shipping/receiving operations.

2. Candidate should have a pickup truck or cargo van for occasional pickups/deliveries.

3. Basic computer knowledge.

4. Organized and attention to detail.

5. Able to work in a fluid and dynamic environment.

6. Flexible availability as required.
