Capital Area Peer Services, a peer run mental health organization is looking to fill two positions.
Our 100 Clinton Avenue residential program serves 9 male clients who present with homelessness and a mental health diagnosis. The administrative assistant position is part-time days. You will be responsible for all office duties, including but not limited to, answering phones, completing program paperwork such as case notes and service plans, supervising medication and monitoring the 9 individuals that live there. Knowledge of mental health, resources, agencies and providers in the community is a plus.
We are also looking for a Program Director who will oversee 2 staff and the operations of a 9 bed housing facility for men as stated above (see our website for descriptions of our programs www.nycaps.org) This is a full-time position. You will complete all agency documentation, reports and paperwork. Conduct outreach as needed. Assist the Executive Director with grants and contracts. Attend meetings. And various other duties assigned by the Executive Director. Excellent computer skills required especially the ability to troubleshoot when necessary.
At least a High School Diploma is required for both positions.
