Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Rochester, New York. This role involves carrying out various accounting functions in a dynamic environment. We operate in diverse industries and your role will be key in maintaining accurate financial records and processing customer applications. Responsibilities: Utilize Accounting Software Systems to manage financial data and generate reports. Execute and oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations. Perform regular auditing tasks to ensure accurate and transparent financial transactions. Manage Balance Sheet Accounts, ensuring they reflect accurate and up-to-date information. Utilize ADP Financial Services for payroll processing and other related tasks. Use Cl Programming for data manipulation and reporting. Handle travel and expense reports using the Concur system. Employ ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for business process management. Perform various accounting functions, maintaining compliance with financial regulations and standards. Use QuickBooks for accounting operations, including invoice processing, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary Familiarity with Cl Programming will be beneficial Proficiency in using Concur is needed Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential Ability to perform all Accounting Functions effectively Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Auditing and Balance Sheet Account management is desirable Proficiency in QuickBooks is necessary.
