Accountant - Entry Level

Description We are in search of a dedicated individual to join our team as an Accountant - Entry Level in New York. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in a hybrid workplace environment, requiring some onsite work. You will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, focusing on the financial coordination of our non-profit organization. Responsibilities: Undertake the vendor onboarding process for Accounts Payable, ensuring efficiency and accuracy Manage 1099 processes, adhering to established company and industry standards Support credit card and expense management, implementing meticulous tracking and organization Conduct regular credit card reconciliation, identifying and resolving discrepancies Utilize accounting software systems to streamline accounting functions Leverage skills in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis Handle IRS W-9 Forms as part of the organization's legal and financial compliance effortsRequirements Proficiency in utilizing Accounting Software Systems Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Corporate Credit Card procedures Ability to perform Credit Card Reconciliation Understanding of Form 1099 Experience with NetSuite software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with IRS W-9 Forms Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
