Description If you're looking for a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision, you might be interested in this Bookkeeper role. We are looking for accounting professionals who have worked with High Net Worth clients who are accomplished and organized. We are on the look out for a talented Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. In this role, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will direct journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. The Full Charge Bookkeeper might also be allowed to lead the clerical staff. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the New York, New York area. Apply immediately!Key responsibilities

Organize subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

Direct Accounts Receivable

Experienced with credit card management and reconciliation

Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

Govern monthly accounting close

Manage Accounts Payable

Additional special projects if necessary

Produce cash flow projections, as needed

Prepare cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

Business license and gross receipts reporting

Mark budget transfers

Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines

Command of Quickbooks Online

QuickBooks experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

Noteworthy accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

Strong attention to detail

Self-starter and strong ethical standards
