Description Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with various accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes.Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and records
Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy of financial data
Assist with audits and regulatory compliance as needed
Provide administrative support to the finance department as required
Requirements
Requirements:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Previous experience in accounting or finance role is preferred but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
