Description Robert Half is actively looking for Accounts Payable (AP) professionals for ongoing opportunities in Buffalo, NY. We're seeking an individual who can handle a variety of general accounting tasks. You will be primarily responsible for processing expense reports and refunds, providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization, processing and verifying transactions, and preparing bills, invoices, and bank deposits.Responsibilities:
Verifying entries and comparing to balances in the system.
Maintaining historical records by filing documents electronically and physically.
Contributing to the improvement of the AP process.
Processing accounts and incoming payments
Participating in annual audits.
Collaborating with team to process and reconcile statements.
Requirements
Knowledge in spreadsheets and MS Office.
Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk.
Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
Strong data entry skills.
Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
