Description Robert Half is looking for an accounts payable auditor to join our clients dynamic and rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our financial operations and controls meet standards and are error-free.Responsibilities:
Conduct regular audits of our accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Evaluate, assess, and enhance existing AP policies and procedures.
Actively identify areas for process improvement and design solutions to drive operational efficiency.
Maintain up-to-date records, compile reports summarizing progress and findings of the audits.
Collaborate with internal teams to promote best practices.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local accounting principles and laws.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in auditing, specifically with a strong focus on accounts payable.
Strong knowledge of auditing principles and practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify errors and discrepancies.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
