After School Site Supervisor Wanted

Organized, established after school program is looking to add a new site supervisor and assistant for an immediate start. Our after school program features performing arts, academics, & sports. We would like our supervisors to have knowledge in all three areas; he or she should have an educational background, or worked with children in a school setting. The position requires you to work Monday Friday from 1:30PM 6:00PM . Please see below for job qualifications:

Director Qualifications:

- Must have educational background (teaching degree, pursuit of an education degree, child psychology, or youth recreation)

- Experience in an after school program

- Worked with groups of children

- Management history

- Communication Skills, organized, team leader, & creative skills

- Access to email

- Experienced with Excel and user ability to use software system - Ability to effectively manage behavior and create a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members in a positive and supportive manner.

- Develop and implement programs and activities that promote sports coaching, theater, early childhood education, and childhood development.

- Create a safe and nurturing environment for students, ensuring their well-being and happiness.

- Utilize behavior management techniques to address any behavioral issues that may arise.

- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's development.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations

- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress, attendance, and program evaluations.
