DESCRIPTION:Duties: Serve as a subject matter expert on a range of alternative investment solutions, including private equity, private credit, hedge funds and real assets. Act as a dedicated specialist for sophisticated Latin American investment advisors and clients, including endowments, foundations and ultra- high-net-worth individuals and family offices. Establish rapport with high profile and sophisticated clients to understand their financial goals, suitability and objectives and work to develop investment plans and portfolio proposals for alternative investments. Manage relationships with strategic third party alternative asset managers, including some of the most preeminent investment firms in the world. Present alternative investment strategies and key indices, such as current yield, IRR, expected return, Sharpe Ratios, and volatility in the context of a broader investment portfolio to aid clients in making and evaluating investment decisions. Present alternative investment training materials used in various programs such as new joiner training, analyst training and other internal training initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as an Investment Specialist, Financial Analyst, or related occupation.Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Alternative investment products, including hedge funds, private equity, private real assets, and private credit; providing investment advice to institutions, endowments and high net worth individuals; financial markets, including equity, fixed income, rates, currencies and commodities; Banking and investment products for institutions and individuals including mortgages, loans, and investment management services; Financial regulations that impact and govern private placement offerings; Applying macroeconomic trends to tailored investment recommendations; Financial modeling to analyze relative prices of securities or impact of different variables to internal rates of return; assessing impacts of leverage on personal assets and liabilities; explaining complex hedge fund trading strategies, including relative value, event driven, long and short equity, quantitative, discretionary and systematic macro strategies; and analysis of complex credit structures and potential downside and upside scenarios.Job Location: 390 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel and up to 15% international travel.Full-Time.
