AML/KYC Analyst

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an AML/KYC Analyst in the Financial Services industry, located in Kew Gardens, New York. The role will involve the analysis and investigation of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) alerts and cases, as well as data reconciliation. Responsibilities include: Conducting thorough AML alert and case investigations Utilizing an analytical approach to assess and resolve AML issues Performing data reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency Utilizing tools such as 3M, BlackLine, Bloomberg Terminal, and Capital IQ to perform job functions Managing customer relationships through the CRM system Understanding and navigating through buying processes and buy-side investments Assisting in capital management and debt financing processes Applying knowledge of discounted cash flow in financial analysis. Requirements Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in the Financial Services industry Knowledge and application of AML/KYC regulations and procedures Proficiency in using financial software including 3M, BlackLine, Bloomberg Terminal, and Capital IQ Experience with CRM systems Understanding of buying processes and buy-side investments Knowledge of capital management strategies Experience in debt financing Proficiency in discounted cash flow analysis Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
