We are also home to EyeMed, the fastest growing vision care company in the United States.Luxottica’s Wholesale teams deliver the highest quality frames, best-in-class expertise and a deep understanding of products and markets to support our customers and fuel their businesses all over North America.GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Business Data Strategy Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Strategy team with reporting, analysis for discovering new insights on commercial initiatives and territory management for the Luxottica North America Wholesale team. The role will be heavily involved with reporting, data analysis, and collaborating with other internal departments to develop insights and recommend associated actions / solutions.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTerritory ManagementSupport Strategy Sr. Manager to work with Sales Leadership to Define new opportunities to optimize geographic territories and selling structure

Support implementing any sales force changes working with Local Sales Operations and Business Planning

Monitor, track and analyze current sales force structure to gain insights and make adjustments or changes to existing selling organizations

Own and manage the Territory management files, tracking all sales force changes and current Sales Rep status.

Lead the execution of routine Sales Force changes in the corresponding systems (feeding into SAP, OSS, FFD, and MBO target setting), including support on Transfer files, Mapping, Samples transfers,

Commercial InitiativesSupport Strategy Sr. Manager to monitor, track and analyze current programs to gain insights and make adjustments or changes to existing programs

Analyze performance of Optical Alliances and look for business opportunities

Pro-actively research Customer needs and incorporate learning into the programs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree

2+ Years of related experience

Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information with high sense of discretion

This role often supports strategic initiatives that are requested by Sr. Leadership and requires someone who has a sense of urgency, and places a high priority on responsiveness

Very comfortable working with significantly large sets of data

Advanced Excel Skills (Can build Pivot tables, Models, and access databases)

Strong PC skills; proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Internet

Ability to multitask on multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities

Prioritize and understand when to bring escalated issues to management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently AND within a team environment

Attention to detail and accuracy

Takes initiative and is proactive especially in problem-solving

Innovative thinking

Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with all levels of internal leadership and staff

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong skills in SAP, and Business Objects databases

Advanced skills in building Databases & Data platforms

Familiarity with coding logic
