This person is going to be a part of a huge initiative where our client is looking to move to a modern way of managing their API's on the backend. They are looking for someone who could be a architect or developer that is leading over projects and understands terraform technologies and infrastructure from code. Someone who has worked with cross functional teams, development teams and has hands on experience coding.Their primary responsibilities will include: Lead a team of talented engineers responsible for the support, maintenance, and enhancement of our API Gateway in the cloud environment. Take ownership of the end-to-end support process, from monitoring and troubleshooting to incident response and resolution, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud-based API management and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and drive strategic initiatives. Serve as a subject matter expert on API Gateway technologies, providing guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps engineers, and security specialists to implement best practices for API Gateway management and security. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our API Gateway infrastructure.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Architect, Azure Solutions Architect expert, or Google Cloud Professional Architect.
