Arborist

TOP Global Engineering/Design Firm is seeking an ISA Certified Arborist, to join their team in NYC! This is an excellent opportunity for growth, that offers the chance to work on a consistent ongoing backlog of active projects. Job Description:

Work on Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) project with Parks Department assessing trees for beetles that are threatening to NYC trees

Construction oversight on project sites

Inspection of trees

Daily reporting

Contractor oversight for emerald ash borer treatment, block pruning, emergency storm work, report writing, use of city FORMS System and stump inspections

Work with contractors

Daily reporting

Work will go through October full time, then slow down in winter, pick up again full time around March (this is typical for Arborists)

Qualifications:

1+ year experience in tree maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment of tree pests and diseases, pruning

Construction oversight experience

Great communication and writing skills

MUST HAVE THEIR OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE

ISA Certification Required
