In this role you are responsible for creating documents which articulate J.P. Morgan Asset Management's unique value proposition and brand commitments to clients globally.You will play a key role in both the acquisition of new business and the retention of existing clients, through the completion of client-initiated documents normally in the form of a Request for Proposal, Request for Information, and/or Due Diligence Questionnaire, for Institutional and retail clients as well as distributors of JP Morgans products and services.In this role you will work closely with internal partners (i.e., Client Advisors, Investment Specialists, Portfolio Managers, Client Account Managers, Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, etc.) to source, create and maintain language and data pieces that are stored and maintained across regions and asset classes for client use.You will be focused on:

Supporting the business to grow its assets by maximizing JPMAM's chances of success in the request for proposal stages of the manager selection process

Ensuring a high and consistent global standard of quality deliverables to our clients

Measuring and driving client satisfaction and a consistent client experience

An RFP is a proposal or questionnaire that a potential client issues to asset management firms when tendering for new business in order to thoroughly understand how these firms manage client assets. It is typically the first formal stage of the sales process in the institutional and wholesale segments of the investment management industry

Job Responsibilities

This team is responsible for sourcing, creating and maintaining responses to non-product specific questions; and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of company-level language in all RFPs compiled for clients globally, to convey a 'seamless' offering to clients, across all products and locations. This involves extensive liaison with colleagues overseas, in Europe, the Americas and Asia, in the creation and co-ordination of RFP responses, including Sales and RFP team colleagues and contacts from other business areas, both in the US and overseas.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain an overview and, over time, an in-depth knowledge of the broad spectrum of functions conducted in the Asset Management business. In the course of completing RFPs, the successful applicant will work with subject matter experts in the various functions, such as compliance, risk management, legal, and operations to source information and update responses; in so doing, they will also build an understanding of the specific needs of different client type

Core Responsibilities:

Creation of accurate, compelling and client-focused responses

Maintenance of product profiles and investment process language; organization of language in the department's proposal software system

Overall responsibility for production, internal distribution and curation of draft and final version RFPs and other client documents

Responses to other request for information from prospective clients and consultants

Development of strong, effective, two-way working relationships with key stakeholders, including Global Institutional and Global Funds Sales teams, and Client Service Teams

Gaining quickly a broad knowledge of the structure and operations of the firm; and the range of investment services and vehicles offered by JP Morgan, in order to fulfill all of the above

Qualifications

Prior experience of writing or participating in the RFP process is a distinct advantage

Prior experience in U.S. Fixed Income is a distinct advantage

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; excellent writing skills in English

Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail

Strong numeracy

Responsive to client requests; ability to work under pressure, and with flexibility, to meet tight deadlines

Confidence to work directly with stakeholders at all levels, both to ensure their RFP service needs are met, and to partner with them to agree priorities and deadlines
