The Global RFP Group is responsible for creating the documents which articulate J.P. Morgan Asset Management's unique value proposition and brand commitments to clients around the world. The Global RFP Group plays a key role in both the acquisition of new business and the retention of valuable existing clients, through the completion of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) for Institutional and Wholesale/Retail clients and distributors of JPMAM's products and services, including Consultants. This team works closely with our Product Investment Specialist and Client Advisor partners to create, curate and maintain these client documents. The Global RFP Team helps support the business to grow its assets by maximizing JPMAM's chances of success in the RFP stage of the manager selection process by ensuring a high and consistent global standard of quality deliverables to our clients.As a RFP writer you will have an excellent opportunity to gain an overview and, over time, an in-depth knowledge of the broad spectrum of functions conducted in the Asset Management business. In the course of completing RFPs, you will work with subject matter experts in the various functions, such as compliance, risk management, legal, and operations to source information and update responses; in so doing, you will also build an understanding of the specific needs of different client type.Job responsibilities

Deliver high-quality content and solutions for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs). The primary duties include creating accurate, compelling, and client-focused RFP responses, and overseeing the production and internal distribution of both draft and final versions of RFPs

The role requires close collaboration with various team members and key stakeholders, such as Sales teams, Investment Specialists, Client Account Management, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Finance, Trading, and other departments. Building strong, effective, two-way working relationships with these stakeholders is essential

Maintain and organize investment language within the internally developed content library, known as the Info Request Library (IRL)

Rigorously adhere to approved review, compliance, and record-keeping procedures

Implementing demand governance procedures to control and improve the production and success rates of RFPs completed by the team

The role also requires a deep understanding of clients' differing needs and levels of sophistication to tailor responses appropriately. Furthermore, the individual must quickly obtain and understand broad knowledge of the firm's structure, operations, and the range of investment services and vehicles offered by JPMAM to effectively fulfill all responsibilities

Collaboration with colleagues in JPMAM offices globally is also a key aspect of the role, ensuring a cohesive and unified approach to delivering high-quality content and solutions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

The ideal candidate should demonstrate outstanding accuracy and attention to detail. Prior experience in writing or participating in the RFP process within the asset management industry is highly advantageous.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with strong numeracy and the ability to tailor responses to client questions and create new written material.

The candidate must be responsive to client demands, able to work under pressure, and flexible enough to meet tight deadlines. Confidence in working directly with stakeholders at all levels is crucial to ensure their RFP service needs are met and to partner with them to agree on priorities and deadlines.

The ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment is necessary. The candidate should be able to work both as part of a collaborative global team and on their own initiative, with sensitivity to different cultures and working styles. A strong work ethic and positive attitude are important, as is a genuine passion for learning about the business and investment products.

A solid grounding in the financial markets and an understanding of basic financial concepts, as well as knowledge or experience in the U.S. Equity asset class are critical, along with an awareness of business risk and compliance procedures.

Leadership skills are also important, with the candidate expected to demonstrate a professional, positive, and mature attitude at all times, displaying J.P. Morgan's core values and business principles and leading by example.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate to advanced level is necessary. Knowledge of JPMAM's investment products and the organization of the business would be a distinct advantage. A university degree is preferred for this role.
