Olea (opened in 2005) is a casual, fast-paced, neighborhood restaurant in Fort Greene seeking highly-motivated, organized, experienced individual to take on Assistant managerial role.

Approx. 35-40 hour/week

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

-working with and communicating with the general manager, bar manager, bookkeeper, executive chef and chef for efficient service.

-responding to emails

-point of contact for staff and guest issues

-accepting deliveries and able to lift and carry to 30+lbs

-hosting, bussing and food running when necessary

-point of contact for tech support with POS-Toast/Grubhub/Relay/Resy

-cleaning, organizing and delegating/overseeing other staff members duties

Applicants should be motivated self-starters, good with following systems already in place, but also helping create new ones.

Must be available Saturdays-Wednesday (Thursdays and Fridays off)

Option to pick up bartending/host and server shifts for tips as well if interested.

Friendly, calm and good communications skills an absolute must.

Knowledge of Toast POS, Resy, Relay and Grubhub is a huge plus.

At least 4 years experience in NYC Restaurant Industry.

MUST have a valid US photo ID and a Social Security card.

All are welcome.

$30/hour starting compensation.

2 week PTO available after 6 month positive review.

Meals from the menu every shift.
