Duties Description Under the direction of higher-level Research Scientist, the Assistant Research Scientist will work in the Newborn Screening Program’s Tandem Mass Spectrometry (MS/MS) laboratory. The incumbent’s primary task will be focused on learning sample processing and testing for the primary screening tests within the MS/MS laboratories. The incumbent will also learn the sample evaluation and sample handling processes as well as the screening tests for galactosemia and Biotinidase.
