Growing together .We’re seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.Schedule: Wednesday – Thursday 9:30am – 6:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday 8:15am – 4:00pm, Sunday 8:30am – 1:00pmPrimary Responsibilities:

Welcoming patients and visitors

Checking patients in and out and taking co-payments

Scheduling and maintaining patient appointments

Maintain heavy call volume

Filling out forms

Verifying and scanning patient insurance

Generating referrals

Filing and pulling charts

Confirming patient appointments for the next day

Queueing prescriptions for doctor approval

Performing other job related duties as assigned

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)

Intermediate computer literacy / ability to navigate a Windows based system

Available to work weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of medical office experience

Previous customer service experience

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Soft Skills:

Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret information from others

New York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
