- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years working as a Jira Developer or Atlassian Administrator.

- 4-6 years' of experience: Java, SQL
- NOTE: This is not a Jira project administrator role and requires specialized skills beyond granting user permissions.
- The Atlassian Administrator is responsible for configuration of Atlassian tools while adhering to the governance model for structuring workflows across all Atlassian platforms.
- This individual must be well versed in both backend / frontend configurations, and is proficient at working in the Jira administration tab.
- A thorough understanding of how system configurations affect security and scalability will be pivotal to success in this role.
- This is a big picture role focusing on interpreting business requirements and translating them into platform configurations that scale.
- The Atlassian Administrator enables Scrum or Kanban delivery teams to support strategic business objectives by maintaining the uptime, functionality, and usability of the agency's Atlassian product suite. A structured and organized approach, as well as a strong sense of ownership will be the keys to success.
- You are comfortable with life in the Jira and Confluence Administration Tab.
- Ability to manage and handle administrative ad hoc requests across Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence.
- Manage Permissions for both Global and Project levels.
- Execute Bulk Changes.
- Perform tasks that rely on Java, JQL, and SQL.
- Ability to develop post function scripts and scripted fields to call REST API's and other applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train project administrators.
- Manage the interoperability of federated instances.
- Configure webhooks to establish bi-directional communication (e.g., Jira ServiceNow Jira)
- Experience in migrating and performing system upgrades of Jira server versions.
- Manage the connection and synchronization to Integrate JIRA and Confluence with AD/LDAP.

- Log review and Troubleshoot performance issues related to bugs, migrations, plugins, and memory allocation.
- Ensure mitigation plans are in place to restore and backup the system.
- Gather and provide analytics and recommendations related to scalability and node clustering.
