New Era Technology is a global IT integrator with 2,500+ employees delivering Collaboration, Cloud, Data Networking, Security, Large Venue, and Corporate AV and Managed Service Solutions to more than 9,000 customers.We currently have a need for an Audio Visual Engineer supporting a Global Network Infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience. Global Financial Services, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities:- Engineer, program and install Crestron, Extron and Cisco Audio Visual equipment
- Set up and configuration of Cisco and Polycom video conferencing units.
- Build rooms around Microsoft Teams and Zoom capabilities.
- Manage small to medium size projects on new installation or upgrades.
- Maintain and monitor internal digital video streaming solutions through Optibase and Cisco Digital Media Player.
- Video camera setup and support for live meetings with broadcasting over company network.
- Provide support and assistance with video conferencing, laptops, various LCD projectors and networking issues to clients on a proficient manner.
- Utilize TMS to monitor and maintain video conferencing units.
- Troubleshoot video conferencing connectivity issues through a Primary ISDN connection as well as IP network.
- Set up of audio equipment with Mackie soundboards, wireless handheld and lavaliere microphones.
- Excellent technical knowledge of teleconferencing, presentation, and other AV hardware
- Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
- Candidate must have a flexible personal schedule in order to service clients throughout the business day and be available for after hours service as necessary
- Audio (Audio Mixers, PA Systems, ClearOne Wired and Wireless Mic’s, Wired Mic Antenna Systems)
- Video (HD and standard format projectors, Tripod, Bazooka and Fast Fold screen setups, Video distribution and video switcher systems, VHS and DVD camera's)
- Staging (Pipe and drape, risers, podiums)
- Required to have programming experience of audio visual equipment such as: Crestron, Extron, Cisco/Polycom/Lifesize video conferencing equipment.
- Cabling (audio and video cabling)
- Networking knowledge, CCNA or CCNP desired.
- CTS, Crestron or DMC certifications
