Req Number 118247Job DescriptionDirects, plans and organizes financial aspects of new business opportunities and on-going operations. Evaluates initiatives with specific focus on revenue enhancement and market share growth.Job Responsibility

Leads the Business Strategy function by developing leaders and driving programs and initiatives that support and impact the overall Northwell health system goals.

Develops and articulates a long-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.

Develops and implements new business plans to maximize FPP's revenues; monitors FPP's progress during implementation of business plan; works with Executive Management in modifying business plan to maximize revenues.

Performs budget analysis for new business initiatives; collaborates with department administrators, medical staff, financial analysts, and others to gather, organize and analyze information related to business models for new service initiatives.

Ensures cost analyses for services being developed; evaluates potential reimbursement from government and private sources.

Assesses information from various sources to evaluate the likely financial impact of proposed new services; works with the leadership to facilitate decision-making process for new initiatives.

Identifies and evaluates opportunities to increase clinical practice volume; assists physicians with program implementation to achieve volume and revenue goals.

Recognizes program expansion opportunities; consistently assists physicians with questions concerning the financial components of their practices; monitors program implementations to ensure that they are achieving expected volume and revenue goals.

Interfaces with the leadership to recommend growth initiatives; evaluates the expansion of selected health system services as they relate to market share and revenue growth.

Integrates information from health system Finance and Strategic Planning to evaluate the health system's market position and possible opportunities for improvement.

Evaluates new projects based on their projected impact on health system operations, financial standing, and market position.

Job Qualification

Master's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

10-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
