Req Number 34194Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOversees the development, and implementation of Marketing strategies and programs for the organization. Interfaces with various departments to develop programs and services that are consistent with the primary mission and goals of the organization and address the health and wellness needs of the communities we serve.Job ResponsibilityLeads the Marketing function by developing leaders and driving programs and initiatives that support and impact the overall Northwell health system goals.

Develops and articulates a long-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.

Serves as a marketing strategist for clinical and non-clinical programs to manage relationships with executive leadership, clinical leaders and administrators, ensuring the provision of valuable counsel and advice; support towards achieving business objectives.

Directs and supervises the work of staff and coordinates the work of other staff who contribute to the projects, direct and manage the work of any agencies, oversee the research, writing, design, and production of materials and monitor project budgets; develops and leads integration of brand positioning and consumer awareness, and implements strategic marketing plans to achieve health system's business goals.

Develops reports and other communications mechanisms and distributes to key constituents to share project status and results; identifies and develops new business initiatives and opportunities consistent with the mission and strategic direction of the organization; establishes and measures performance against goals and objectives; plans and directs the utilization of information resources to support the strategic direction and operation of the organization.

Directs, plans, organizes and evaluates external community relations programs; interfaces with various organization departments and community resources; collaborates with staff to maintain contact and cooperate with organizations to offer programs.

Reviews, authorizes, and prioritizes all financial expenditures by assessing profitability, alignment with business objectives and budget parameters; provides financial and administrative oversight and problem resolution guidance; develops and oversees operational and personnel budgets.

Monitors and evaluates the impact of industry trends on the area's current business performance and competitive outlook; analyzes competitors' services, synthesizes information, and incorporates this intelligence into integrated marketing strategies and action plans; ensures active communication with all external and internal constituencies to establish strong relationships that are complimentary and consistent with organizational goals and strategic needs.

Develops and oversees implementation of current and long-term Human Resources goals and objectives for organizational development, recruiting, compensation, training and development and employee relations; oversees protocols to promote employee excellence and opportunity.

Develops relationships with outside consultants and industry associations; keeps executive leadership and stakeholders well informed.

Oversees the assessment of services and development of new programs and research projects to ensure future organizational growth and prosperity; reviews comprehensives of Marketing on an on-going basis and develops strategies for program adaptation to market changes.

Job QualificationMaster's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

10-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.
