Job Description

• The regulatory and compliance team is looking for a Developer/BA for new project work driven by regulatory requirements.
• The main function of this Developer/BA role is to perform analysis, design, development, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of Regulatory Reporting projects.

• Gather requirements, design, configure, code, test, and resolve issues in a development and production support environment.
• Development of modules, support for conversion of data, job scheduling, unit/integration testing, business process documentation, development of training materials, and delivery of end-user training.
• The Axiom Developer will work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Complete configuration, installation, and support of equipment to the specifications of the business
• Maintain software applications and operating systems through regular maintenance
• The Axiom Developer will maintain configuration and support documentation
• Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives
• Troubleshoot malfunctions of hardware, software applications, and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services
• The Axiom Developer will write and implements scripts to automate tasks
• Reviews system logs, application logs, and security logs
• Support Power BI dashboard requirements and recon (Axiom) capabilities to ensure ongoing requirements from business stakeholders are met

• Preferably 5+ years experience within the financial services industry.
• Proven and successful experience providing development support for large-scale Regulatory Reporting, General Ledger, and/or financial-oriented projects.
• Prior AXIOM development experience (will accept support experience)
• Previous SQL experience

• Power BI
• Oracle/SQL/Autosys/scripting experience

• Strong work ethic, self-starter, quick learner with a can-do attitude.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to properly understand and resolve user needs.
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.

• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build Axion core functionality from the ground up.
• This will also be WFH until returning to the office in a hybrid model, with potential for FTE conversion.
