Description: Hiring Manager: Senior Manager, Support Team Hybrid model (1 day in office per week) - Any Axiom experience is okay - doesn't have to be V10 - Migration experience moved to nice to have - Knowledge in monitoring tools like Geneos, Dynatrace and Splunk moved to nice to have - Supporting Financial/Regulatory reporting application - moved to nice to have Story Behind the Need: Business Group: GWRT - US Technology Project: Resource will be SME in AXIOM and responsible V10 migration. Key resource from Support side to configure V10 environments with all the prerequisites from Axiom HQ, also work closely with development and testing team to perform the migration, environment setup activities to UAT and PROD. The Axiom SME and migration expert works with in US applications support team and responsible for the Axiom migration activities from V9 to V10.This is critical role requiring highly dedicated individual who can take ownership and provide procedural and technical support to various teams and work on partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Candidate Value Proposition: - Will be supporting the Desktop to Web Application migration from V9 to V10 - Working on a great team and reporting into the senior manager Typical Day in Role: Manage and take ownership of Axiom migration activities from old to new environment Work closely with development team and other infrastructure team to Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment to the specifications of the business Maintain software applications and operating systems through regular maintenance Maintain configuration and support documentation Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives Troubleshoot malfunctions of hardware, software applications and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services Writes and implements scripts to automate tasks Reviews system logs, application logs and security logs Support Power BI dashboard requirements and recon (Axiom) capabilities to ensure on-going requirements from business stakeholders are met Ensure information controls, backup and recovery strategies are in place across all the environments Implement the continuous process improvement, including but not limited to policy, procedures and the production monitoring Carefully evaluate alternative risks and solutions before taking action to provide time Work with Axiom Controllers view application. Knowledge in navigating through different data flows and report structure Read and navigate around the application logs and code to narrow down the issues Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: 1. 5+ years of hands-on L2/L3 application support experience. Supporting Financial/Regulatory reporting application is plus 2. Experience with Axion V10 migration 3. Experience with distributed applications (Oracle, SQL, UNIX, Linux, Java, Web Services, Tomcat, Shell scripting etc.) 4. Hands-on experience with manual and automatic deployment process 5. Knowledge in monitoring tools like Geneos, Dynatrace and Splunk 6. Experience with scheduling tool Autosys or Control M Nice to have Skills: Experience with Linux and UNIX platforms and shell scripting Cloud Technologies Experience with SQL debugging skills Middleware technologies like Apache, Tomcat or WebLogic Experience with Disaster Recovery planning and test executions Experience in Axiom controllers view development and Implementation is plus Soft Skills Required: Excellent problem-solving skills and relentless drive for root cause analysis and measure to reduce repeat occurrence Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills required Education: Post- SecondaryYoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
