Job Title Azure Devops Platform Engineer Location Remote 100% - needs to work EST hours Duration 12+ months with expectations to be extended. Experience Required: Make sure that you find out if the candidate has been on 1 or more migrations projects. Specifically from on-prem to Azure. Remember these candidates are going to be working with app owners to automate the apps and take them to Azure. Terraform/Ansible/Kubernetes is VERY important as they will be using these tools on the daily. Job Description: In this role you will lead technical efforts in containerization and the deployment of applications into the private & public cloud. To be considered you must have solid and demonstrable experience designing applications infrastructure and automation operations. You must have a solid understanding of how applications consume infrastructure and understand release cadences. Duties:
- Partner w/applications teams to design & build highly scalable & reliable infrastructure
- Orchestrate and automate application deployments
- Build automation & process to enable self-serve production deployment
- Code, configure, integrate, manage, and enhance various automation tools
- Construct platform observability
- Participate in application & infrastructure release and deployment activities
- Migration experience from on-prem to Azure
- Industry tools: CNCF, DevOps, CI/CD, Container Registries
- Terraform
- Ansible (writing playbooks for automation and building pipelines)
