Bakery Delivery Van Driver

Busy Manhattan bakery with multiple locations is looking for a committed and attentivePART-TIME deliveryvandriver. This position requires transporting items from one bakery location to another, as well as from our storage unit where materials (bags) are stored. This role also entails direct-to-customer deliveries in (mostly) Manhattan, (but sometimes) Brooklyn and Queens.

This is a PART-TIME position with a schedule of : Sunday & Monday from 6AM-2PM.

Some additional availability may be requested, as dictated by demand.

Rate of pay is hourly + tips

This position requires:

- At least 25 years old w/ a currentdriver's license and cleandrivingrecord (current record required)

- Experience (and patience) drivingprofessionally in Manhattan traffic

- Confident driving a Ford 250 Cargo Van

- Punctuality and dependability

- Heavy-lifting required

- Clean, neat, professional appearance and demeanor

- Great customer service skills

- Willingness to take full responsibility for the condition of delivered items

- Willingness to take responsibility for the care of the delivery van (refuel, oil change, normal maintenance visits)
