BA/Project Manager

One of our direct clients is looking for BA/Project Manager in New York. Below is the detailed job description. Title: BA/Project Manager Location: New York , Remote till COVID Duration: Full time Skills: 60% PM/40% , BABanking/Capital market Responsibilities:

• Project Management (60%): The PM/BA will work with business and technology staff to assist with the management and tracking of the project to introduce new technology, systems and processes to Private Markets. This includes:
• Definition of project scope, resourcing, deliverables, impact, and business value as part of the overall business and technology book of work.
• Planning and tracking task execution, deliverables, issues and communication across vendors, business, and technology teams.
• Communication of the status of deliverables, key issues, risks & dependencies.
• Evolving the solution through releases delivering a roadmap of functional enhancements
• Ensuring the successful rollout of the system to new funds
• Business Analysis (40%): The PM/BA will participate in the requirements definition and testing of projects, including:
• Analyzing requirements of the business users to ensure that the project meets functional and operational goals, and to identify process impact and improvement
• Document processing requirements, data needs and business flows
• Communicating with technical teams to ensure developers understand and deliver requirements.
• Participation in testing to ensure that functional, processing and data requirements are met
• Conducting training for business users

• Excellent project management skills Must have strong track record of successful definition and delivery of projects. Experience with Project and Program management best practices (including Gantt & Agile) and experience applying them in an appropriate manner.
• Versatile and effective communicator Must be able to interact with diverse group of individuals with very different styles and backgrounds. Must have experience defining appropriate project metrics and communicating via dashboards, summaries, emails and face-to-face.
• Ability to see the big picture and the details Must be able to step back from day-to-day to ensure that overall project goals and direction are well managed.
• Financial domain expertise Must be experienced with Finance Industry. Experience with client onboarding and core processes across the Private Equity domain a plus

• Proven record (7+ years) of project management in a financial organization:
• Experience with program and project management
• Experience with Agile, vendor integration and Gantt style methodologies
• Experience with projects spanning multiple locations
• Successful track record of projects with Vendor and external parties
• Experience partnering with technical and non-technical users to conceive and deliver high value, high profile solutions involving multiple stakeholders and requiring coordination across multiple delivery functions.
• Track record of delivering demanding and complex agendas in a variety of cultures and business environments. Evidence of direct and varied involvement (a fighting general) across solution selection, analysis and design, development, and project management.
