At ActionLink, we believe every customer deserves an exceptional and differentiating experience, which fuels our mission and focus as a premier retail marketing solutions company to connect people with the brands they love and innovative technology that helps improve their lives.Position OverviewOur Seasonal Beauty Advisor will represent our client, Dyson, and their premium personal hair care and hair styling products throughout the 2023 holiday retail shopping season. You will serve as an expert brand ambassador, visiting Sephora and Ulta stores in your local area to engage shoppers and demonstrate all the reasons why Dyson hair styling tools are pioneering and the best that money can buy! Dyson's Supersonic hair dryer, Airwrap styler, Airstrait wet to dry straightener, and Corrale cordless straightener have revolutionized the beauty industry by combining cutting-edge mechanical technology with stunning design. As a Dyson Beauty Expert, you will have the opportunity to represent these exceptional products and make a significant impact on customers' personal styling routines.Many of our best Beauty Experts freelance with other companies associated with haircare or cosmetics brands. The ideal candidate has an enthusiastic attitude, can easily connect with people, and will be able to confidently perform fundamental curling and straightening techniques during in-store demo sessions.Join us this holiday season to create memorable experiences and share your expertise with customers so they can feel their best every day!Schedule

18-24 hours per week

Store visits are scheduled in 6 hour shifts once or twice per week between Thursday - Sunday during normal store hours

This is a temporary promotional program running through December 31, 2023

What We Offer

$40.00 - $50.00per hour

$1,250 program completion bonus

Paid online training to certify you on Dyson product knowledge

Upscale and interactive work environments

W2 employment with biweekly pay schedule

Duties

Share enthusiasm about the Dyson brand with all store associates and customers

Conduct interactive styling demos & product presentations to individuals and groups

Provide engaging beauty consultations and expert product knowledge advice to increase sales

Train store personnel to communicate Dyson information with confidence

Help maintain visual product display standards at shopfront

Establish positive professional connections with store leaders and beauty advisors

Participate in both initial training sessions and team conference calls

Complete surveys with feedback and pictures after each shift

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology license preferred, but not required

High energy and strong relationship-building skills

Experience in hair styling and/or working in a salon environment

Experience in retail, customer service, and/or sales preferred

Access to reliable vehicle transportation to travel to assigned retail locations

Availability to be scheduled for work Thursdays through Sundays

Must adhere to dress code/professional appearance standards and demeanor

Access to a smart device to complete reporting and communicate with district manager

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
