Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper. The chosen candidate will be part of the team and will be responsible for managing the company's financial records. This role is in the finance industry and involves tasks such as maintaining accounts receivable and payable, reconciling credit card statements, and managing customer payments. Key responsibilities: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable Manage customer payments and ensure they are processed in a timely manner Conduct credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting Process invoices accurately and assist with month-end close procedures Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial documents Handle minor collections tasks as required Maintain accurate financial records for audit purposes Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting Uphold bookkeeping best practices in all tasks and responsibilities.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with QuickBooks Solid understanding of Account Reconciliation Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations Proven experience in Bookkeeping Capability to handle Month End Close tasks Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
