Bookkeeper Full Time In House

FULL TIME BOOKKEEPER IN HOUSE Proficient in Quickbooks accounting software

Responsibilities:

- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements

- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

- Utilize accounting software, Quickbooks, to record and track financial transactions

- Implement and maintain double-entry bookkeeping principles to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions

- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments

- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

- Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of recorded transactions

- Prepare journal entries to accurately record financial activities

Skills:

- Proficient in Quickbooks accounting software

- Proficient in balance sheet reconciliation techniques

- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations

- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording financial data

- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and procedures

- Previous experience in public accounting is a plus

- Knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply accounting principles effectively

- Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately

- Proficient in preparing journal entries for various financial transactions
